spring favorites!

After a much needed break I finally have time to get back into this blog! We've made a lot decisions for the wedding, spent some much needed time with friends and family, kept super busy with work, but it's time to stop ignoring the blog. I will say that as much as I love centering around our life I do plan to start branching out a little more, including beauty and fashion posts when they are applicable in some way (which is where this post is heading.)

For my first legitimate post of 2014, the sun is shining (even though it's still cold outside) and I am ready for spring! I've been trying to get my skin under control after the longest, most miserable winter and I've added a few items to my wardrobe trying to break the winter mold. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the cardigans and boots are getting old.

While I know it's a little early for shorts, I couldn't resist the color when I saw them in-store last weekend. (Plus they were on sale.)  J. Crew chino shorts are my favorites - worth the extra money for the better quality fabric over their Factory shorts. Eventually it will be warm enough to actually wear them. In the meantime I will continue to work on my skin...

Do you have any spring favorites? Fashion, beauty, or otherwise?

  1. I love the Glam Glow products! Looking forward to your upcoming posts!!! :)

    Love Always,

    1. I just purchased the one above a month or so ago and love it! So cool to be able to see it work, and I was impressed when I saw an immediate difference in my skin.

  2. Glad to see you're blogging again! I like J Crew chino shorts... the material doesn't wrinkle as easily as the factory ones, and they usually go on sale too. Have a nice day!

Thanks for stopping by the blog! Always feel free to leave a comment, suggestion, or ask any questions that may be on your mind.

I read each and every one of them and love connecting with you all!
