Introducing the Something Borrowed Link-Up!

Sydney from Bumps Along The Way contacted me with ideas about doing a wedding link-up together recently. It sounded link a great opportunity to connect with other brides-to-be and newlyweds regarding wedding plans, details, and all of the joy and stress along the way, so we're making it happen! Admittedly, I have not planned... anything. We're getting married next September, so for now I think that's just fine. At least, that's what I keep telling myself! We have lots of ideas, we know the style we're going for, it's really just making decisions and laying it all out. So, throughout this link-up you'll probably be seeing a lot of my planning process.

Fellow blogger Sydney will have a different perspective - rather than sharing her details as she goes, Sydney is already married! I'm hoping her posts will provide me, and anyone else who is engaged, with some insight about what really matters when it comes to your wedding day. We're kicking off the Something Borrowed Link-Up on August 20, (TOMORROW!) I accidentally got some dates mixed up, so sorry for the short notice! You will be able to submit to the link-up for one week, and the link-up will occur monthly. Each month when you participate you will also be given the topic for the upcoming month.

we loved here.

For the very first link-up we would like for everyone to share your engagement story! In order to have a wedding you have to get engaged first and every engagement is unique. We would love for you to grab our button too and share it in your post (at the top if you don't mind!) so your followers can find the link-up and participate as well.

When the link-up goes live tomorrow we will also include the September link-up topic so you can start preparing for that as well, so be on the lookout!
