link up | "it's ok" thursday

Thank you everyone who wished me well earlier this week! I feel much, much better than I did Monday. I'm still working on pulling the Q + A post together, I need to hunt down some photos! Today I'm linking up with Neely and Amber for "It's Ok" Thursday!
Its Ok Thursdays

It's ok...

-to get excited when a band that you love responds to you on Twitter! I feel like a dork, but whatever, it was awesome!

-to also be excited that one of our favorite bands is sending us an unreleased track so that we can play it at our wedding! I don't know if I'll walk down the aisle to it, if it will be a first dance, or even just a song at the reception, but it means a lot for them to do something so nice for us!

-to not know what day of the week it is... Yesterday I thought it was Tuesday most of the day, then when I realized it wasn't I thought it was Thursday for a bit. Wrong and wrong.

-to play strategy games on your phone like it's your job. Clash of Clans has more of my attention than it really should.

-to also play Zombie Farm 2 for the first time ever and trade brains for a cat. Really:

So sure!
-to be sad that the Olympics are over.

-to feel a little bad for Chad Johnson/Ochocinco. I mean dude, it is not okay to headbutt your wife or cheat on her if that was the deal, but him being fired on Hard Knocks was a little pitiful.

-to judge people for the way they use social media. I'm getting more irritated with Instagram-ers every day. No one wants to see 30-40 pictures of anyone's kid crying or staring off into space every.single.day. or their just woke up mirror shots, looking like a train wreck. Yes, I had to do some unfollowing this week. No, this does not apply to anyone reading this right now :)

-to love sharing music on your blog!

-to disagree with people, even if it's over paint colors. Our company colors are pink, black, and white... in talks about painting our office someone wants to do blue, because it's their favorite color. Uhm, no, how does that even make sense?!

-for your car to be messy. And to not have floor mats... two years after you bought your car.

Are you linking up?

  1. One of your fave bands sending you an unreleased track... awesome! How cool is that?!

Ugh, I really dislike Chad Johnson! But did you watch his wife in Basketball wives (she used to be engaged to a basketball player), she was such a bully to the other girls! Those two do not "match"... both are too violent LOL

Loved your bit about instagram! Haha!

    1. I know, right?! I'm so stoked!

See, I'm a Bengals fan and loved watching him when he played for Cincy! I didn't know anything about his wife really, but obviously they were not compatible, geez. I'm sure a lot of people are going to hate him now, but he's not the biggest tool bag playing football, haha.

  2. I didn't know about Chad Johnson being fired on LIVE TV til I caught a bit of it on the news this morning-- how awful! I mean, is that really necessary?! I'm sure he's in a bad place emotionally right now anyway, dealing with all this stuff. I mean, yeah he was wrong with whatever happened with his (ex?)wife, but I don't like when personal lives come into play at work...

& how awesome that you'll have an unreleased track at your wedding!

  3. Why haven't I found your blog sooner? Please share more music - I am ok with that. And yes - be excited when a band retweets you. I would be happy dancing too.
