Are people running out of original ideas?

I've recently discovered a blog that is utilizing our title, has recently turned their relationship into the focal point of the page, and has a brand new dot com address that has two dashes in it to differentiate it from our own.

We've been here for three years... it's existed mere weeks.

I find it highly improbable that along the way to creating such a similar page that these people did not run into something we've been building for years. One of the first steps to owning a website is Googling the name you're attempting to use and see if there is anything else out there like it. No one wants their creative toes stepped on.

I can't believe people sometimes. Seriously. We've been working at this, creating, building, sharing for years. It feels like our endeavors are cheapened by someone coming along and trying to make it their own. Such a complete lack of respect for other bloggers.
